Emir Davis
Chief Executive Officer
Emir's Legacy
As a former K-12 teacher and principal, district administrator, and consultant, Emir encountered a dilemma. While there were many resources leaders could leverage to improve their bottom lines, there needed to be more resources focused on improving the skills and mindsets required to sustain high-performing cultures. Additionally, as companies redefine what it means to champion equity, there is rarely a low-stakes and brave space for executive leaders to work through frustrations and troubleshoot curiosities around hard-hitting topics such as anti-bias and antiracism. Emir has demonstrated a passion for teaching technical skills of organizational leadership. What sets Emir apart from other leadership coaches are the avenues to support leaders through an almost spiritual awakening and do the profound emotional work leaders ought to do. Through artful conversations, Emir develops leaders beyond exchanging technical ideas to facilitate overcoming mental and emotional tensions that are inextricably linked to sustaining ventures and workplace cultures that are inherently responsive to the communities they serve.
Emir enjoys exploring the art scene and admiring the architecture in his hometown, Atlanta. He also reads too many books at once and plays flag football in an attempt to relive his glory days as a football player. Emir earned a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and a Master's from the University of Pennsylvania. He splits time between Atlanta and New Orleans with his wife, Amber, and their dog, Philly.
