Emir Davis is an organizational psychologist, leadership strategist, and founder of Legacy72. Combining formal training in organizational psychology with experience as a teacher, principal, district administrator, and executive advisor, he helps organizations strengthen culture, develop leaders, and sustain high performance.

Throughout his career, Emir observed a persistent challenge: while organizations invest heavily in strategies, systems, and operational improvements, far fewer resources are dedicated to developing the mindsets, relationships, and leadership behaviors required to sustain high-performing cultures. He also recognized that as organizations work to build more equitable and inclusive workplaces, executive leaders often lack trusted spaces to wrestle with difficult questions and build the skills necessary to lead through complex issues.

Emir's work combines the technical disciplines of organizational leadership with the deeper relational and emotional work required to create healthy workplace cultures. Through thoughtfully designed learning experiences and artful conversations, he helps leaders move beyond surface-level solutions to address issues of trust, belonging, accountability, and organizational resilience. His approach creates opportunities for leaders to examine assumptions, strengthen relationships, and cultivate the conditions necessary for people and organizations to flourish.

As Founder and CEO of Legacy72, Emir leads partnerships with organizations seeking to reduce workplace stress, strengthen leadership capacity, and align culture with mission. His work has supported leaders across education, nonprofit, government, and private-sector organizations.

 

Emir enjoys exploring the art scene and architecture in his hometown of Atlanta, reading too many books at once, and playing flag football in an ongoing attempt to relive his glory days as an athlete. He earned a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and two master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He splits his time between Atlanta and New Orleans with his wife, Amber, and their dog, Philly.
